Betül Burnaz was born in Istanbul, Türkiye in 1978. She received M.A in Political Science at the Vienna University. Also she  completed certificate courses at Kultur Konzepte Austria in arts and culture management. Since 1995, Burnaz has been occupied with different arts-related projects, including art-education, painting in oils and acrylics, drawing, and calligraphy in Istanbul, Sakarya, Damascus and Vienna. The pieces of her work are in Private Collections both at home and abroad. Currently, she lives and works in Istanbul and Vienna.
